WPW universal split cast iron housing
WPWK series including WPWKA, WPWKS, WPWO, WPWKT, WPWKV are single-stage worm gear reducers with universal WPW housing. The third letter W stands for universal box type, integrally cast with thickened HT250 cast iron. Cooling ribs and reinforcing ribs are arranged on shell for high rigidity and anti-deformation capacity under impact load. Single-stage worm & wheel transmission covers reduction ratios 10~60 with standard 90° right-angle layout.
Modular layout with multi-direction shaft arrangement
Mounting orientation: A – input shaft at the bottom, S – input shaft on the top, O – output shaft pointing upward, T – input shaft pointing upward, V – input shaft at the bottom; the sixth letter K denotes a hollow output shaft. All models share standardized housings, flanges and bearing seats, differing only in end cover accessories for input and output ends, and the mounting orientation can be flexibly selected as required.
Standard wear-resistant self-locking transmission pair
The worm adopts carburized quenched 45# steel, matched with centrifugal cast tin bronze worm wheel for small meshing backlash and long service life, suitable for standard input speed 1500rpm. Single-start worm provides built-in reverse self-locking to prevent load reverse sliding.

High universality of universal housing
All WPWK models adopt the same base cast iron housing. Only replacing end covers can switch multiple input & output directions without new mold development, reducing inventory and production management cost, and quickly matching various equipment space requirements.
Hollow output fits diverse load connection
K-type hollow output shaft can be directly sleeved on transmission shafts and drum shafts without extra couplings to make equipment structure more compact. Multi-direction shaft types fit vertical, horizontal, sunken and top-drive machinery, widely used for mixing, conveying and lifting working conditions.
High efficiency & low loss single-stage transmission
Only one set of meshing parts brings much lower power loss and less heat generation than double-stage reducers. Thickened cast iron housing bears strong shock loads. Worm, worm wheel, bearings and oil seals are fully interchangeable across the whole series, cutting maintenance and replacement cost in later stage.

Q: Can WPWKA, WPWKS, WPWO, WPWKT and WPWKV share the same mounting base?
A: Yes, all universal housings have identical center distance and foot mounting dimensions, so base brackets are interchangeable, only input and output end covers cannot be swapped.
Q: Can solid output shaft accessories be installed on WPWK hollow output shaft?
A: Yes, solid output end cover kits of the same frame size are available, which can convert hollow K-type output to solid shaft without replacing the whole housing.
Q: Can WPWK series run under full load 24 hours continuously?
A: Standard models are designed for intermittent duty cycle. 24-hour non-stop full-load operation will cause severe heat and worm wheel abrasion. Select larger center distance or equip external cooling fan for continuous production lines.
