Two-stage split cast iron housing structure
WPWDA and WPWDS belong to WPW two-stage worm gear reducer series. Split upper-lower thickened HT250 cast iron housing with dense reinforcing ribs improves anti-deformation rigidity. Two groups of worm wheel transmission in series provide reduction ratios from 25 to 100 for ultra-large speed reduction, while maintaining compact 90° right-angle outline.
Differentiated upper & lower input shaft layout
WPWDA features downward input shaft, WPWDS features upward input shaft, both with upward solid output shaft. The input end is equipped with red standard IEC motor flange for direct connection with three-phase asynchronous motors and servo motors. Internal transmission parts including worm wheels, bearings and oil seals are fully interchangeable between two models.
Dual self-locking wear-resistant transmission pair
Both high-speed and low-speed worms are carburized quenched 45# steel, matched with high-tin bronze worm wheels for even meshing and minimal backlash. Designed for standard reference input speed 1500rpm. Dual-stage self-locking delivers better anti-reversal performance than single-stage worm gearboxes.

Easy maintenance & lower comprehensive operating cost
Split housing allows convenient disassembly and overhaul. All internal spare parts are shared by two models, worn components can be replaced separately without removing the whole reducer. Stable low-noise operation and dual self-locking omit external electromagnetic brakes for most light-load conditions, reducing purchasing cost of matching components.
