Right-angle downward output structure
WPDX adopts flange input layout with solid output shaft downward. The cast iron housing is thickened with reinforcing ribs; letter X stands for enhanced rigidity variant, effectively avoiding housing deformation under heavy load, perfectly matching vertical installation with limited space.
Single-stage worm & worm wheel transmission
The worm is made of carburized quenched 45# steel, paired with tin bronze worm wheel for smooth meshing. Single-stage reduction ratios range from 10 to 60, realizing large speed reduction with compact monoblock structure without multi-stage gears.
Self-locking performance
The lead angle of the worm is smaller than equivalent friction angle, delivering reliable reverse self-locking after shutdown. It eliminates extra brake parts, ideal for lifting and conveying machinery to prevent slipping.
Product advantages
Smooth & low-noise operation
Flexible meshing between bronze wheel and steel worm minimizes vibration and impact. Running noise is much lower than hard-tooth gearboxes, meeting silent operation requirements of food, packaging and automation equipment.
High load capacity & long service life
Integral cast iron casing and reinforced bearing seats strengthen overall rigidity. Bronze wheel features excellent wear resistance and anti-fatigue performance, extending service life under dusty and humid industrial conditions.
Wide motor compatibility with direct mounting
Standard IEC input flange allows direct connection with 3-phase induction motors and servo motors. Sizes from 40 to 250 cover power range 0.18kW–15kW, no extra adapter plate needed for quick installation.

Q:What lubricant should be used for WPDX, and how often to replace oil?
A: Special extreme-pressure worm gear oil is mandatory. For 24h continuous operation, replace oil every 3–6 months; for 8h intermittent use, change lubricant every 6–12 months; shorten cycle under high-temperature environment.
Q: What machines are WPDX gearboxes suitable for?
A: Packaging conveyors, small lifting platforms, mixers, woodworking machines, ceramic processing equipment, automated positioning machines and low-speed high-torque auxiliary plastic molding machines.
Q: What is the warranty period? Is OEM customization available?
A: Standard warranty is 12 months. Customization is supported on reduction ratio, output shaft length, flange size, surface coating color, and customer brand logo printing.
