Product Characteristics
Flange-free Split Double-stage Worm Structure
Two groups of worm and worm wheel transmit power in series with reduction ratios from 200 to 900. No motor mounting flange on input side, fitted with solid input shaft to connect motors via couplings. Split housing facilitates disassembly, inspection and replacement of internal worm gear parts.
Lockable Hollow Output Shaft
Keyway hollow bore output shaft can be directly sleeved on mixer shafts and conveyor rollers, locked tightly by set screws. No extra transition flange required for assembly, compatible with various direct-sleeve loads.
Cast Iron Housing with Reinforced Cooling Fins
Integral cast shell with dense integrated cooling fins greatly improves heat dissipation for double-stage transmission. Multi-direction mounting holes on base ensure stable horizontal installation with excellent anti-vibration and anti-impact performance.
Product advantages
Stable Self-locking for All Ratios
Double meshed worm pairs produce dual friction damping, reliable self-locking performance for all ratios 200–900. Loads cannot reverse rotation after shutdown, eliminating external brakes for lifting and tilting machines to reduce total accessory cost.
Ultra-high Low-speed Output Torque
Two-stage reduction multiplies torque output obviously. Heavy loads can be driven by low-power motors with sufficient low-speed torque without slipping, perfect for heavy mixers and high-load conveyor lines.
Flexible Universal Motor Matching
Flange-free solid input shaft works with all types of motors including single-phase speed control motors, three-phase VFD motors and fixed-speed motors through couplings, free from IEC flange size limits for higher adaptability in equipment renovation.

FAQ
Q:What is the first oil change interval? How often should lubricant be replaced afterwards?
A: Fully replace special worm gear oil after the first 300 working hours for new units. For normal temperature & light load, change oil every 3000 hours; for high temperature or 24h continuous heavy load, replace lubricant every 1500 hours.
Q:How to judge if the internal worm & worm wheel are worn out?
A:Sharp metallic friction noise under no-load, unstable output speed, sudden temperature rise under fixed load, severe oil leakage are typical signs. Disassembly with visible scratches or peeling on wheel teeth confirms worn gear pairs that need replacement.
Q: Does larger reduction ratio deliver higher output torque for same-size gearbox?
A: With identical input power, higher ratio brings higher torque yet lower speed. Extra high ratios (above 60 for single stage, 200-900 for double stage) generate extra friction loss, resulting in slight drop of actual usable torque.
