Offset Split-load Double-stage Worm Transmission Structure
Two sets of worm & worm wheel arranged in upper and lower offset layers to split torque and disperse tooth surface pressure, reduction ratios ranging from 200 to 900. Internal stress is more balanced than traditional coaxial double-stage housings to reduce tooth wear under heavy loads. Integrated standard IEC flange on input end supports direct assembly of speed control motors and brake motors without transition adapters.
Anti-disengagement Limited Hollow Output Shaft
Double integrated internal keyways inside the hollow bore, matched with extended set screws and circular limit steps. It transmits high torque and restricts axial movement of drive shafts automatically to avoid shaft falling off during frequent start-stop, ideal for forward-reverse cyclic working conditions.
Split Cast Iron Housing With Double-layer Reinforced Sealing
Upper-lower split casting structure with double oil-resistant rubber gaskets on joint surfaces. Staggered cooling fins on housing walls plus thickened base ribs restrain high heat generated by double-stage transmission and greatly reduce oil leakage caused by long-term vibration. Internal maintenance can be finished without removing the whole reducer from production lines.

Double meshed worm pairs create dual friction damping, stable self-locking performance for all ratios 200–900. Loads cannot reverse rotation after shutdown, removing external brakes for lifting and tilting equipment to cut accessory costs.

Two-stage reduction multiplies torque output significantly. Heavy loads can be driven by low-power motors with sufficient low-speed torque without slipping, ideal for heavy mixers, high-load conveyors and small mining machinery.

A: Tighten set screws and use flat keys for normal loads; install expansion sleeves under heavy-duty working conditions to eliminate axial movement and circumferential slipping completely.
Q:Is it difficult to replace the worm and worm wheel for maintenance due to the split housing of WPWEDK?
A:No. The split cast iron housing can be opened simply by removing side fastening bolts without detaching the whole unit from equipment. Internal worms, worm wheels and bearings can be taken out and replaced separately, improving maintenance efficiency and reducing machine downtime.
Q: What solutions are available for excessive housing temperature of WPWEDK during operation?
A: Fill special 220#/320# worm gear oil and adjust to standard oil level; shorten continuous low-speed full-load running time. Install auxiliary cooling fans for poorly ventilated environments and replace lubricant regularly as required.
