Low cost and mature technology
Our brushed motor has a simple structure (only containing basic components such as carbon brushes and commutators), and the gearbox mostly adopts a conventional gear transmission design. The overall production and maintenance costs are much lower than those of brushless models, making it suitable for scenarios such as industrial equipment and small household appliances with limited budgets. Moreover, the supply chain is mature and accessories are easy to purchase.
High starting torque and simple control
Our brushed motor does not require complex electronic drive circuits. The speed can be directly controlled by adjusting the voltage, and it can output high torque when starting. When matched with a gearbox, the torque can be further amplified to meet the needs of "heavy-load starting" such as gates and small lifting equipment, with simple and easy-to-implement control logic.
Strong adaptability and flexible modification
Our brushed DC motor with gearbox is small in size and can be matched with different types of gearboxes (such as planetary and worm gears), making it easy to adjust the reduction ratio to adapt to different speed/ torque requirements. At the same time, the installation interface is standardized, which facilitates the modification of the power system of old equipment with high compatibility.
Product advantages
There is carbon brush wear and regular maintenance is required
The friction between our carbon brushes and commutator will cause wear. Usually, the carbon brushes need to be replaced every 1000–3000 hours, which is suitable for scenarios with a high tolerance for maintenance frequency (such as non-continuously operating equipment).
The operating noise is slightly higher, but the load stability is good
The friction between the carbon brushes and the gear meshing of our brushed motor will produce a certain amount of noise, but the torque fluctuation during transmission is small, and the speed stability is strong when the load changes, which is suitable for industrial environments with low noise requirements.
Suitable for low-voltage, low-power
scenarios
Our brushed DC motor mostly uses 12V/24V DC power supply, with a power range of 0.1–5kW. It is suitable for low-power drive requirements such as electric tools, toys, and small conveying equipment, and is not suitable for working conditions with high power and long-term continuous operation.

Q: Does your company's motors support customization? What is the approximate customization cycle?
A: Customization is supported, and parameters such as voltage, rotation speed, installation dimensions, and protection level can be adjusted according to customer needs; the delivery time for customized products is generally 35-45 days.
Q: Is it normal for a motor to heat up during operation? What temperature is considered excessive?
A: When the motor is running, the windings will generate a certain amount of heat. If the temperature of the housing is too high, or if it is accompanied by an unusual smell or noise, the motor must be shut down immediately for inspection to check for issues such as overload and poor heat dissipation.
