A: The IP rating consists of the dust protection level (the first digit) and the water protection level (the second digit). We have IP55, IP65, and IP69K protection ratings.
Q: What is the difference between a three-phase motor and a single-phase motor? How to choose?
A: Three-phase motors have a wide power range, stable operation, and high efficiency, making them suitable for large industrial equipment; single-phase motors have lower power, are suitable for household or small equipment, and require a 220V single-phase power supply; you can choose according to the equipment power and on-site power supply conditions.
Q: Is it normal for a motor to heat up during operation? What temperature is considered excessive?
A: When the motor is running, the windings will generate a certain amount of heat. If the temperature of the housing is too high, or if it is accompanied by an unusual smell or noise, the motor must be shut down immediately for inspection to check for issues such as overload and poor heat dissipation.
