The worm wheel and worm of our worm gearbox are in vertical staggered engagement, enabling 90° power transmission without the need for an additional steering mechanism. The overall volume is small, making it suitable for industrial equipment with limited installation space (such as automated production lines, small conveyors, and precision instruments).
Equipped with a self-locking function
When the lead angle of the worm of our DC worm gear motor is smaller than the equivalent friction angle between the meshing gear teeth, the motor can only drive the worm wheel via the worm, and reverse transmission is not possible (i.e., the worm wheel cannot drive the worm to rotate). This can prevent the load from reversing and improve the operational safety of the equipment.
Flexible speed regulation, suitable for DC drive systems
Our DC worm gear motor, relying on the characteristics of DC motors, can achieve stepless speed regulation through methods such as voltage regulation and current regulation. Combined with the reduction ratio design of the worm and worm wheel, it can accurately match the speed requirements of different loads (the reduction ratio range is usually 5:1 ~ 100:1).

Our worm gearbox can achieve a large reduction ratio with a single-stage worm and worm wheel transmission. Compared with gear reduction motors, it can output high torque at low speeds without the need for multi-stage gear stacking, meeting the power requirements of heavy-duty equipment (such as warehouse stackers and lifting platforms).
Low operating noise and good transmission stability
The worm wheel and worm of our DC worm gear motor are in line contact when meshing, resulting in low impact and weak vibration during transmission. The noise is much lower than that of gear reduction motors of the same power, making it suitable for scenarios with high mute requirements (such as medical equipment and office automation equipment).
Low maintenance cost and long service life
Our worm wheels are mostly made of bronze, and the worms are made of hardened steel, which have good wear resistance and low wear rate. Moreover, the transmission structure has strong sealing performance and is not easily eroded by dust and oil stains. Daily maintenance only requires regular greasing, making maintenance simple.

A: When the motor is running, the windings will generate a certain amount of heat.
