Hybrid Stepper Motor

The rotor of our stepping motor has built-in axial permanent magnets, with staggered tooth poles at both ends (usually staggered by 1/2 tooth pitch). After the stator windings are electrified and magnetized, both permanent magnet torque and reluctance torque are generated simultaneously. The torque density is 30% - 50% higher than that of reactive stepping motors of the same volume; The basic step angle of two phases is 1.8°/0.9°, and that of five phases can reach 0.72°/0.36°. After subdivision, it can reach 0.01° level, and the positioning accuracy is 3% - 5% of the step angle.

The holding torque of our hybrid stepping motor can reach 1.2-1.5 times the rated torque when stationary, and it can lock the position without continuous large current; The torque is stable at medium and low speeds (≤ 1000RPM), which is suitable for scenarios requiring long-term positioning or low-speed heavy load (such as 3D printing platforms, placement machines). There is no jitter/whistling at low speeds under subdivision drive.

Our motor can realize precise position control in open loop, and the position error does not accumulate; It supports upgrading to closed loop with encoder to eliminate the risk of step loss and improve high-speed performance; The winding inductance is small, the current response is fast, and it can start, stop and reverse frequently, which is suitable for automation equipment with high-frequency actions.
