Precise Helical Tooth Forming Technology
The worm is processed by precision hobbing and overall quenching & tempering hardening, while the worm wheel is centrifugally cast from high-wear-resistant tin bronze. The tooth meshing clearance is controlled at micron level with larger contact area, which evenly distributes operating impact force and avoids tooth surface fatigue loss during long continuous operation.
Lightweight & High-strength Die-cast Housing
Integrally die-cast with high-grade aluminum alloy, the housing is equipped with internal reinforcing ribs to improve deformation resistance while reducing overall weight. Hard anodizing surface treatment resists moisture and mild acid-base corrosion, so it will not rust easily in humid workshops and food processing environments.
Integrated Design with Dual Output Shaft Options
One frame size supports interchangeable hollow shaft and solid shaft without replacing the main housing. The hollow shaft comes with built-in locking keyway and positioning set screws, and the solid shaft reserves flat key slots for couplings. One housing matches multiple transmission modes including roller direct connection, sprocket and coupling drive.

Single-stage Large Reduction Ratio Reduces Supporting Parts
A single reducer covers reduction ratios from 7.5 to 100, eliminating the need for multi-stage gearbox series connection. Fewer transmission components cut customers' assembly costs and reduce overall installation footprint of equipment.
Built-in Buffering for Shock Load Resistance
The flexible meshing structure of worm and worm wheel delivers natural shock absorption superior to hard-tooth gearboxes. It buffers peak torque during equipment startup/shutdown or sudden material jams, protecting front-end motors and rear conveyor rollers from instantaneous load damage.
Standard Universal Spare Parts for Easy Sourcing
All components adopt industry-wide standard specifications, including input flanges, oil seals, bearings, torque arms and drain nozzles. Customers can easily source replacement parts for routine maintenance without custom non-standard accessories.

Q:What protective measures should be taken when using NMRV in humid food workshops?
A: Double dust-proof oil seal version is preferred, with food-grade worm gear oil filled inside. Avoid water accumulation after shutdown, and regularly inspect box gaskets to prevent water vapor from emulsifying internal gear oil.
Q: Is torque arm mandatory when hollow-shaft NMRV connects conveyor roller shaft directly?
A:Torque arm must be installed. Worm drive generates reverse torsion during operation; without torque arm, the reducer will rotate freely, set screws loosen and shaft bore wear rapidly. The torque arm offsets reverse torque to stabilize the whole unit.
Q:Is it a malfunction if the reducer housing feels warm during operation?
A:Worm drive has inherent friction loss; surface temperature between 40℃ and 70℃ under full load is normal. If temperature keeps exceeding 85℃, it is usually caused by improper oil volume, overload or coaxial deviation, stop the machine for inspection immediately.
