A: Position is tracked by pulse counting in low-speed stepper mode. High-speed BLDC mode relies on hall or encoder feedback. Position deviation still occurs if load exceeds rated torque. Closed-loop feedback is recommended for heavy-load applications.

Q: What is the difference between BLDC stepper motor and conventional hybrid stepper motor?

A: BLDC stepper motor adopts brushless electronic commutation with dual-mode control. It delivers higher efficiency, lower heat and better high-speed performance. Hybrid stepper motor uses open-loop pulse control, low cost but suffers heavy heat and obvious torque drop at high speed.

Q: Can the controller of BLDC Stepper Motor be interchanged with standard stepper drivers?

A: No. This motor requires a dedicated dual-mode controller. Standard stepper drivers cannot support BLDC vector commutation and cannot achieve high-speed brushless performance.
