Q:What causes stiff and unsmooth handwheel adjustment?
A:Main causes include dried lubricant with dirt jamming speed cam, deformed friction wheels from long overload, and rusted stuck sliding blocks. Replace dedicated variator oil and clean the housing first; disassemble to inspect internal speed parts if jamming persists.
Q:What standard input motor flanges are compatible with UDL variator?
A:The input end fits IEC standard three-phase asynchronous motor flanges, and 220V single-phase motors can also be directly mounted by matching corresponding frame sizes. Custom adapter flanges are optional for brake motors and servo motors.
