Stainless Steel Reductor is a hygienic anti-corrosion transmission unit. Equipped with stainless steel housing and worm gear drive, it delivers speed reduction with 90° power direction change. Developed for humid, corrosive environments requiring frequent washdown, such as food, pharmaceutical, aquaculture and seawater treatment lines. It balances transmission performance, sanitation and durability.

Polished sealed stainless steel housing
The housing is fully machined and surface polished without paint coating. Minimal crevices prevent dirt accumulation, suitable for production line spray cleaning.
Single-stage right-angle worm gear mechanism
Vertically arranged input and output shafts with compact structure and inherent mechanical self-locking. Wide selection of reduction ratios available.
Wear-resistant alloy transmission pair
Quenched precision-ground worm cooperates with tin bronze worm wheel, offering stable friction performance and capacity for intermittent shock loads.

Outstanding corrosion resistance
Resists moisture, salt water, weak acid and alkaline detergents. Hard to rust and achieves much longer service life than ordinary cast iron reducers.
Sanitary & low maintenance
Smooth surface prevents residue adhesion and simplifies cleaning. Complies with sanitation standards for cleanrooms, meeting requirements of food and pharmaceutical industries.
Compact & flexible mounting
Standard interfaces support direct motor coupling. Horizontal, vertical and flange mounting options fit limited installation space.

Q:Can food-grade lubricant be used in the stainless steel reductor?
A:Yes. The unit is filled with industrial gear oil by default. FDA-certified food-grade lubricant can be adopted for applications with direct food contact.
Q:Does the stainless steel reductor produce louder noise than cast iron type?
A:The noise level is similar under normal working conditions. Noise mainly depends on machining precision of gear pairs, and there is no obvious difference for the same specification.
Q:Are water stains on the housing surface signs of rusting?
A:Most stains are limescale from water instead of corrosion. Regular flushing and wiping are recommended. 316 version is suggested for heavy corrosive environments.
