Q:Is lubricant replacement required if the stainless steel gear motor has been transported or kept idle for a long time?
A:New units are pre-filled with sufficient lubricant from factory. If idle for more than 12 months before startup, check the oil level. It is recommended to replace lubricant for long stationary applications.
Q:Can the stainless steel gear motor operate continuously under alternating high and low temperature conditions?
A:Standard units fit ordinary temperature range. For environments with drastic temperature fluctuation, low & high temperature resistant seals and special lubricants can be upgraded. Please share working conditions before order.
Q:Will minor scratches on the polished housing accelerate rusting?
A:Light scratches hardly cause corrosion. Deep scratches exposed to corrosive media need regular cleaning. 316 model is recommended for severe corrosive working conditions.
