ANG Drive AC induction motors (asynchronous motors), IEC standard, 0.06kW~315kW, feature squirrel cage rotor construction with no brushes or wear parts. Support star delta starting and VFD speed control, offering simple structure, long life, and reliable operation, the most widely used power source in industrial transmission.

Squirrel Cage Rotor, Brushless and Contact Free
The rotor is a cast aluminum squirrel cage. When the stator winding is energized, electromagnetic induction drives the rotor. There is no electrical contact between rotor and stator, no carbon brushes, no slip rings, and no brush wear or sparking, making the structure extremely simple.
Star Delta Reduced Voltage Starting
Windings support both Y and Δ connection. During startup the motor first connects in star to reduce voltage and current, then switches to delta for full voltage running. Starting current drops to one third of direct online starting, reducing impact on the grid and equipment.
VFD Compatible for Wide Range Speed Control
Paired with a variable frequency drive, stepless speed control from 5 to 100Hz is achievable. Stable torque at low speed and overspeed capability at high speed serve variable airflow fans, variable speed conveyors, and adjustable mixers.

Virtually Maintenance Free, 10+ Year Life
No consumable parts like brushes or slip rings. The only wearing part is the bearing. Under normal conditions service life reaches 10~15 years, with routine bearing checks only, extremely low maintenance cost.
Smooth Starting Protects Both Equipment and Grid
Star delta starting avoids the high current surge of direct online starting, extending contactor and winding life. It also prevents voltage dip from tripping other devices on the same line, especially suitable for sites with limited transformer capacity.
Flexible Speed Control, One Motor Saves Cost
With a VFD one motor covers multiple speed requirements. Customers avoid buying separate motors for different speeds and eliminate mechanical transmissions, simplifying equipment structure and lowering total cost.

Q: How many cables does star delta starting need?
A:Star delta starting requires all six winding terminals brought out (U1/V1/W1 and U2/V2/W2), switched by three contactors. Our larger motors come standard with six terminal boxes, smaller frames can be customized on request.
Q:What is the difference between induction and synchronous motors?
A: An induction motor rotor runs slightly slower than the rotating magnetic field (slip exists), with simple structure, low cost, and no maintenance, suitable for most industrial applications. A synchronous motor runs exactly in sync with the field, with adjustable power factor, but complex and costly, mainly for high power precision transmission.
Q:Can the motor run in reverse?
A: Yes, a three phase induction motor reverses direction simply by swapping any two power supply lines, no motor modification needed, suitable for conveyors, hoists, and other equipment requiring forward and reverse operation.
