Stainless steel electric motors are engineered for harsh hygienic and corrosive working environments. Equipped with stainless steel housing, they serve as premium drive solutions for food processing, pharmaceutical production, seafood processing, daily chemical lines, seawater treatment and more. With standardized construction, the motors can drive machinery independently or be coupled with reducers to form integrated stainless steel geared motor assemblies for versatile automated transmission systems.

Polished hygienic stainless steel frame
The housing of stainless steel electric motors is integrally formed of 304 stainless steel with a finely polished surface. Free of grooves, gaps and dirt-trapping dead spaces, it resists adhesion of oil stains and material residues. It can withstand frequent water washing and spray disinfection, complying with industrial hygiene standards.
Dual international mounting standards
The frames of stainless steel electric motors fully cover the dimension systems of IEC 63~180 (European Standard) and NEMA 56~286TC (American Standard), with unified specifications for flange and output shaft dimensions, delivering excellent interchangeability and compatibility with reducers and conveying equipment of the same specifications.
Comprehensive power and phase options
Stainless steel electric motors cover power ratings from 0.12kW to 22kW. Single-phase and three-phase power supply versions are available to match voltage standards in different regions worldwide, suitable for both light conveying loads and medium-to-heavy continuous operating conditions.

Long-term corrosion resistance to avoid production contamination
Compared with traditional cast iron motors, stainless steel housings can withstand continuous corrosion from salt water, cleaning agents, weak acids, weak alkalis and salt spray. They are less prone to rusting and peeling in humid environments, preventing rust debris from mixing into raw materials and contaminating products.
Simplified cleaning and less maintenance downtime
The housing of stainless steel electric motors features a smooth and seamless design, enabling direct washing with high-pressure water guns without complicated protection. Water hardly accumulates after cleaning, significantly cutting down production line cleaning time and making the motors suitable for regular disinfection procedures on assembly lines.
Standardized structure enables flexible matching and cost control
Stainless steel electric motors feature a unified international mounting standard, eliminating the need for customers to re-adjust equipment mounting bases. With a wide range of power and phase options available, they facilitate model selection for projects. Additionally, the motors can be flexibly matched with various reducers, lowering costs associated with equipment customization and modification.

Q:Can IEC frame and NEMA frame motors be interchanged directly?
A: Direct interchange is not available. IEC follows European dimensions while NEMA complies with North American standards. Flange holes, shaft diameter and mounting height differ. Confirm the standard of your equipment before ordering.
Q:Can stainless steel motors be paired with ordinary cast iron reducers?
A:They can be mechanically assembled if dimensions match. However, cast iron reducers tend to rust in corrosive humid environments. For long-term reliability, complete stainless steel transmission assemblies are recommended.
Q:Can stainless steel motors be installed outdoors without protection?
A:Long-term exposed outdoor installation is not recommended. Internal condensation caused by temperature fluctuation, rain and sunlight will accelerate aging of bearings and seals. A protective canopy is required for outdoor use.
